Strong qualifying performance from Monster Energy Attack Kawasaki

Monster Energy Attack Kawasaki's Jamie Hacking qualified on the front row for the AMA Pro Daytona SportBike doubleheader race during the Superpole session at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

After Friday's basic qualifying and SuperPole were rained out, Hacking and Hayden had a single 30-minute session to put in their best times for the doubleheader. Hacking put in his fast lap of 1:28.647 after seven solid laps to qualifying second. Teammate Hayden also put in a good effort and post a quick time of 1:28.770 to qualify sixth.

The first race of the doubleheader takes place Saturday afternoon.
